Halloween 2012: Last Minute Ideas

It's the Sunday before Halloween. Many of us may have had our party last night, but for those purists who are holding out for the real thing on Wednesday, here are a few last minute, simple ideas.




First, Casper, the Friendly Ghost:

It doesn't get much easier than this. Some white/offwhite/beige/bone/eggshell pieces - the flowier, the better - and boo! You're a ghost. Totally beats the bed sheet with holes for eyes, amirite?

I attended a villian's party a while back, and this was one of the easiest and most complimented costume I could have put together. All it takes is a ridiculous robe, satin slip, and some slippers or mules for the base. Add some under-eye circles, a messy updo, and a martini glass full of gin, and you've easily got Annie's awful orphanage leader.

Another simple monochromatic ensemble. This can be easily translated using any shade, really. Here, you're gold. Maybe you want to be silver? Copper? Purple? Guys, the possibilities are endless.
